MSDN no longer documents the changes that 2.0 added from 1.x apart from the 64-bit support, but no version of 1.x is supported anymore either (that was much more than a decade ago). Most of the info on 1.x I found was on Wikipedia. If you look to see in the lists of what "wasn't supported" to determine which version started supporting the things you use, you will then be able to determine which is your minimum version.
