Hi, I'm a relative newbie to WiX, and I'm trying to generate the entries for a componentgroup from a set of dlls. The dlls are in a known directory but there are other files in that directory I don't want.
I tried using 2 executions of heat to generate the .wxs I need for the 2 dlls. I specified the same -cg <componentgroup> option for both, hoping that light would collect them later. Instead, I got a duplicate symbol error for the componentgroup name. Is there an easy way to do this? Can I somehow tell heat to process multiple files, or to filter out specific files?
