Thanks Wyrdfish, It looks like it is working now -- even though, the asterisk doesn't show up where the IP would be in the IIS manager. I had been waiting for our systems guys to create a DNS entry for the website and once I had it, it seems to work. Must be a false alarm. It is interesting though why the asterisk for "All unassigned" doesn't show. But doesn't seem to stop things.
