Running Wix 3.6.1922, I have a Setup.exe that's a custom managed boostrapper application. When I execute, I see two or three instances of Setup.exe in the Task Manager. Problem is, when the Setup.exe terminates (normally or abnormally), it almost always leaves an instance of Setup.exe still running. I have to manually use Task Manager to kill it.
