Doing a little testing with a dummy application that would return an arbitrary exit code. I found Burn has good support for standard exit codes.
It seemed to treat the exit code as a the System Error Code (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms681381%28v=vs.85%29.aspx) and displays the appropriate message. 3010 did trigger a reboot but I believe it was "scheduleReboot" not "forceReboot" -- View this message in context: http://windows-installer-xml-wix-toolset.687559.n2.nabble.com/Burn-ExePackage-using-ExitCode-tp7585219p7588983.html Sent from the wix-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LIMITED TIME SALE - Full Year of Microsoft Training For Just $49.99! 1,500+ hours of tutorials including VisualStudio 2012, Windows 8, SharePoint 2013, SQL 2012, MVC 4, more.
