Thanks! I had the WixVarible in a fragment with no reference to it. But after moved it as a child of Product, I still have the same error.
While looking for a solution to this problem I refactored my wixlib code and eliminated most of the places that I was trying to use a bind variable. But I have one remaining variable which is a project specific registry key (path), and I am still getting the Unresolved bindt-time variable. I enabled verbose and pedantic output. I also preserved the temporary output, but when I look at the folder here are two cab_#_Extension folders with two files 0 and 1.
