Did you check with using 'xev' if this Mod4 key generates both
KeyPress and KeyRelease events when you press the key only once?

I ask this because the other bug report you've sent about the
Sun keyboard turned out to be something X-related...

Ah, another thing you can try is to use this same Mod4 key
to create a shortcut with another WM like fluxbox. If it
works there then wmaker has a problem.
