Actually I found that on my box all Java apps with a Swing-based
GUI have problems after maximizing them in Window Maker. The
menus still appear where they should be, but when clicking them
they show up and immediately disappear although I keep the mouse
button down. I never investigated this any further and simply do
not use the maximize function in WM with those apps (i.e.
maximize them manually). This seems to indicate that there is a
general problem with WM and Swing rather than with WM and
netbeans.

Also I ran into problems with WM and openoffice, too. If I have
a document open and then maximize the window, the menu and
button bars do not adapt to the new window size.

Cheers,

Martin
