Hello,

Bug #149898 has been open for years in Debian BTS. This bug is a request from someone who would like to hide the application icons. Marcelo Magallon answered "You can open the property inspector for a random app, select "Window Specification" from the uppermost menu and select "Defaults for all windows" and then select "no application icon" from "application specific"."
But the problem of this solution is that it also disables dockapps.

Would it be a solution to ignore the no_appicon flag for dockapps? It seems sensible to do so, because it is not possible to manage the attributes for dockapps other than by globally changing the attributes. Moreover, a dockapp without an icon doesn't really makes sense (and for this reason, icons can't be shared between two instances of the same dockapp).

Kind regards,
Nicolas
