What do people think about Johann Haarhoff's patch from 04 Feb 2009?

I started to use a 22" widescreen recently and using that patch is making
me happy. I use it only when I have a xterm on the left (to compile) and
xjed on the right (with source code), but the required amount of
mouse clicks + key presses to achieve that positioning decreases with
Johann's patch.

If there are people really interested in going to full "Maximus" mode
(I would like it), then perhaps studying Johann's patch is a good
way to start?

In the end I think it would turn Window Maker into a even more powerful
window manager, so I guess it is worth trying.

Can we steal Gnome's code for this? At least see how they do it :-)
