you do not configure xinerama for wmaker specifically (nor do  you 
need to configure anything in wmaker to handle xinerama, well except 
for --enable-xinerama, but that's a given).

the fact that recent xorgs do not _need_ an xorg.conf does not mean 
they _can not_ (or _must not_) use an xorg.conf. if whatever it 
autodetects doesn't fit your needs, just keep using your xorg.conf. 
this is what i've been doing for longer than i care to remember. while 
i understand the intent behind this autodetection craze, since it has 
not once done what i needed, i'll just keep on using xorg.conf for the 
time being.
