I'm not sure if this is not falling into the "creepy featurism" category. Perhaps it's just me who simply don't care too much about the switchpanel, because my use of it is very limited -- keep Alt pressed and a few keystrokes of Tab to select the window I want among at most 5 or 6. But I guess that most people use the switchpanel like that, and there's not a pressing need to have this new feature. If this was a matter of adding a few line, that could be ok. But we are talking about ~400 LOC of added complexity. So I'm afraid I want to skip this series.
