Hello, I also like the NeXT look, but I think the port to Cairo is a great occasion to enhance it a bit.
See for example this screenshot from the Étoilé project: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Etoiledock.png. I especially like the title bar. It is slightly thinner than in Window Maker, and the close button has been redesigned. I find it beautiful. (The separations between the title zone and the buttons have also been removed, but I'm less enthusiastic about this.) I also like the design from http://www.roard.com/camaelon/.
