With all due respect, but this sounds like the most useless non-feature
i can imagine to include in Window Maker. Pointless eye candy might be
nice for some, but from a usablity point of view this would just
wouldn't add any functionality adavantage at all.

If you want to have the background image changed more or less randomly,
it should be sufficient to write a smallish shell script which rotates
the image, and add it to your autostart script. There is definititely no
need to bloat Window Maker code with such trivial stuff.

Who exactly is "we", please? Does it include you? Did you already bother
to prepare a patch for your proposals?
