Thanks Carlos,

I will use this file as wmaker-0.95.3.orig.tgz in debian distro.

NO!!!!

Unsuitable

I didn't realise 0.95.3 was tagged and good... I'll get that tarball up

Thanks, this is the best way for packagers.

Hi,

I have a question because I don't understand one thing.

Why we cannot use the file "http://repo.or.cz/w/wmaker-crm.git/snapshot/efcad8497ee6c89683919e505973e08639ecad87.tar.gz"; as tarball (ok, renamed to wmaker-0.95.3.tar.gz and in the folder windowmaker.org/pub/source/release/)? Why we need run "./autogen.sh && ./configure && make dist"??

Make dist creates some Makefile and Makefile.in files,... Why is not better use the original source file without running these commands? Also, the autotools could be different between the file and the distro.

Thanks for your help,
kix
