Frankly, I was expecting (and hoping for)
something more trivial, like patch for the
source. Of course, ideally, the dock (or
miniwindows) should be optionally pop-uppable.
That would void the need for 3rd party
panels/taskbars and make loads more sense to
have, than, e.g., dancing icons we have now.
