Hello, just wanted to let you all know that I silently uploaded a new release version of the Window Maker Live Linux distribution ISO images. Now with a different version numbering scheme, in order to reflect the actual Window Maker version used: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wmlive/files/wmlive_0.95.6-1/ Don't be surprised that it won't fit on a standard CD anymore. Now you will either need a DVD or a USB thumb drive. ISO images for both amd64 and i386 are more than 900MB now, but they contain a few additional features, e.g., it comes with a fully working setup of the KVM virtual machine and the latest Firefox/Thunderbird. Visually nothing has changed and you might be disappointed if you are looking for a different visual style than the former offerings. Never change an already well working setup, unless good reasons are given. Under the hood there were quite a few enhancements, though. Unlike former releases, the touchpad of laptops should now hopefully work out of the box. The Linux kernel version is 3.14.15 from the Debian/wheezy-backports archive. I didn't come around yet to update the website accordingly, nor did I prepare a complete NEWS and README file. But i thought you people would already like to know that there actually is something worth to be downloaded.
