These 13 patches are small improvements to the patches that are currently the #next branch. As I believe none of these deserve a separated commit, I have listed in each message the reference commit to witch the patch could be merged into. The patches are in reverse order compared to the commits in #next so that if they are merged one by one the commit number in reference should stay valid. Carlos, if you think any of these patch would require a dedicated commit in the history, feel free to skip that patch and let me know, I'll propose a new patch with a long message.
