windowmaker.org and mod_rewrite?

Does anyone know if windowmaker.org is run on apache?  If so, is
mod_rewrite [1] enabled?

If it is, or if it could be, I'd like to try and make some urls more
intuitive, e.g.,

    http://windowmaker.org/dockapps/wmclock

instead of

    http://windowmaker.org/dockapps/?name=wmclock
