I've been a long time WindowMaker user (5+ years), however, I'm not a guru at it. I use wprefs to configure most things and edit WMRootMenu by hand on occasion, but only for simple things.
I have two workspaces, no app icons and have turned off the Dock and the Clip. When no apps are running I just stare at my wallpaper & wmclockmon. I run most things in the first workspace and Firefox in the second. My problem is that if I start 'pidgin' it steals focus, pidgin is set to start in my first workspace and if I'm in the second workspace, fire up pidgin I get pulled to the first workspace. It is the only app that I've found so far that behaves this way, I'm a bit confused - would anyone be able to shed some light on this for me?
