Hi,

I currently use OpenSuSE 11.4 and I've used Window Maker since, well,
maybe the beginning of time.

Anyway, I'd like to change the appearance of Gnome apps. I can change
this in the gnome-control-center (e.g. Appearance->Themes), but this
change always resets the next time I log in (I'm using KDM). I know
this isn't a Window Maker-specific question, but it is a question that
affects Window Maker users since the default Gnome daemons aren't
started in the typical Window Maker usage and lots of Window Maker users
may have a similar issue.

A related issue is I'd like to change the cursor back to the standard X
"black cursor". I seem to have succeeded in doing this, but only for
Gnome apps when I change the style with gnome-control-center.
Everything else still has the white cursor (including KDE apps).

I've used Window Maker for so long, I really haven't kept up with how
KDE and Gnome tweak your settings. It seems that if you're not using
Gnome or KDE, these simple things become more difficult.

Regards

Erik
