So to see that someone has taken up the cause to do bug fixes is a
real pleasure to see.
I'm a sysadmin. Not a developer. I've been using Ubuntu for about 7
years now and love it because it's a binary distribution. I don't
have to download source, do the library version chase, and basically
get it over my head when an install gets past configure, make, make
install.
I'd like to request that one of y'all developers update the
Windowmaker binaries in the Ubuntu repositories. Then I could just
do
a simple in-place binary upgrade and be even more happy!

Hi Russ,
use the debian repositories. Is included in testing and unstable.
Add the line
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ testing main
To your /etc/apt/sources.list
run
apt-get udpate
then
apt-get install wmaker
and is done. You can comment the line in /etc/apt/sources.list and
re-run apt-get update to forget the debian repos.
Cheers.
