There is another lacking feature on the cycling and that is that one
cannot cycle to windows which are on a different workspace than the
current one.

This list does not seem to have a lot of traffic, I did not receive any
responses when I mentioned this feature request

Subject: Problem with cyclic focusing (windoze cycling)

Hi,

Did anybody come across the problem that after pressing Alt-Tab the focus
is only changed between the last and last but one window (i.e. in the
style of windoze cycling). The desired behavior what I used in the
previous versions is cyclic change of windows upon Alt-Tab (unix style
cycling). In the previous versions this behavior was configurable.
Either in WPrefs or in GNUstep/Defaults/WindowMaker by setting
   WindozeCycling = NO;
line. This feature was quite important, so I hope it did not disappear. I
googled a bit and did not find hints on the solution of problem.

My system is Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. I experience this problem with
wmaker-0.95.0 (shipped with the system), or later versions (compiled from
source). I had an old Debian computer with wmaker-0.92.0 which was working
perfectly. Unfortunately 0.92.0 does not compile on my system due to
64bit issues and therefore I cannot downgrade to have the desired
behavior. Though I would badly need a correctly working one, because I am
heavily addicted to wmaker.

I would appreciate any hint.

Best regards,
Andras Laszlo
