At work I am now working on a Linux system in a VMWare virtual machine. Of course, the first thing I did was install WM :)
I found that I am unable to use multiple monitors when using WM while this is not a problem e.g. with Gnome. I think I found out why this is the case: On VMWare the _NETWM_FULLSCREEN_MONITORS hint is used to propagate the information that there is more than one monitor. As it seems, WM does not support this. I cannot even seem to see the second monitor using `xrandr -q'. Has anybody found a workaround for this? Any plans to include support for the _NETWM_FULLSCREEN_MONITORS hint in WM?
