Exactly the same here, I did have this issue and did the same thing as
you, this was without trying a key binding file though, which perhaps i
should have done, arent the defaults supposed to take over if there are
no bindings though?
I tried a keybinding file, I can't seem to get the default keybindings
to work at all anymore even with the -k option
