The affiliates might be pissed, but NBC isn't going to care. Compared to the
hour-long dramas that have traditionally filled NBC's 10pm slot, Leno's show
costs almost nothing to produce. NBC will stick with Leno until advertisers
refuse to pay the ad rates and said rates fall enough that 5 prime time
hours of Leno per week is no longer profitable. Check back in about a year
for signs of cracks.

Or just keep an eye on deadlinehollywooddaily.com. Nikki Finke never misses
a chance to illustrate the idiocy of Jeff Zucker and the people who keep him
in decision-making positions. Which is not a criticism of Nikki Finke.
