obwnn: the movie is from Disney/Pixar, which
owns the NBC Blue Network, home of WNN...

- we saw the standard two dimensional digital projection
at a local decent quality theater. There's also a 3-D
  version out there.

Our anthropomorphic cars are back, including the race
car "Lightning McQueen", his best friend the tow truck
"Mater", and most of the others.

The plot is... that a Big Powerful Type has set up a series
of international Grand Prix races (one in Towkyo, one in
London, and one in, err, somewhere in Italy...) with the
goal of promoting his new and renewable alternaitve fuel.

But.... there are Bad Fol^h^h Cars out there trying to
derail the race and convince the world that this new
fuel is baaaad, and that everyone should stick with gasoline.

And, on the good side, is the British Secret Service
(and their US friends) trying to stop the bad guys.

Into the middle of this comes Mater, who in his mildly
dimwitted way, gets mis-identified as an American agent.

Hillarity ensues.

The animation is superb. The plot is a bit strained but
works ok. There's even a(n) homage to the James Bond
crushmobile. Oh, and to Lucas Electronics.

The adults in the audience liked it. The kids loved it.

four tires and a fake spare out of five.
