Gerry Anderson, of Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Space: 1999, and UFO,
has died at age 83.

I have to admit I didn't watch his shows much when I was growing up,
but I do appreciate the imagination and talent and work he put into them, and
do enjoy them as a grown-up, or whatever it is I am these days.
