[global news] Manitoba crash: 15 dead in 'tragic' highway collision near Carberry
Manitoba officials say 15 people were killed when a semi truck and a passenger bus collided on Highway 1 west of Winnipeg on Thursday in what is being called a 'tragic' event.
The crash occurred at the highway's intersection with Highway 5 near the town of Carberry. RCMP from across the province were deployed to the scene along with the STARS air ambulance services from Winnipeg and Regina and other first responders.
