Hi Oshani,
This was the original intention. DOMWSDLFactory and DOMWSDLReader were the
starting point, but we have not had the time and resource yet to do
StAXWSDLFactory and StAXWSDLReader, so if you'd like to contribute on those
that would be fine.
I have a question on Axis2 use of StAX, AXIOM and DOM. One of the original
requirements on Woden from Axis was to provide a StAX implementation and
avoid any dependecy on the DOM API. I notice that ws-commons XmlSchema
exposes the DOM API. Does AXIOM use XmlSchema
or expose the DOM API in any other way?
thanks,
John Kaputin

Hi,
I would like to add another item to the agenda.
How about the StAX implementation in Woden? I believe we can use the
same design methodology used with DOM and introduce StAXWSDLFactory,
StAXWSDLReader etc. In the long run, this model could be used in Axis2
for WSDL2.0 support since AXIOM too is based on StAX.
I have done some experimentation in this regard already, and would
like to contribute by implementing the StAX based processing of WSDL
in Woden.
Thanks,
Oshani.
