I've assigned this to myself since I need an excuse to learn Maven. I agree 
with Guillaume that if we are going to support Maven, then we should use the 
latest stable version.

Eran, can you please test your patch on 2.0.4? Thx.

As discussed on the dev list, we have a major event coming up and we need to 
prepare for that. We need to focus on the high priority items now. We can limp 
along using Ant until after the interop event.
