Minutes
1. Open Action Items - Lawrence Mandel
2006-10-03 - Graham will investigate any Apache process that needs to be followed to bundle the W3C WSDL 2.0 schemas with Woden.
2006-10-17
Graham: I sent an e-mail to Dims to get some pointers. I haven't heard back yet.
Jeremy: I've heard a response in the past to talk to legal-discuss. You can also try [EMAIL PROTECTED]
2006-10-31
Graham: I posted to [EMAIL PROTECTED] The note is there but there hasn't been any reply. I'll post to [EMAIL PROTECTED] as well to try and increase the chance of getting a useful reply.
2006-11-07
Graham: I received feedback from [EMAIL PROTECTED] I posted to the list and so did Jeremy. I think we're already covered by the licenses we include.
Lawrence: Jeremy suggested we roll up all the licenses into one file. Should we do that?
Graham: I can check with other projects.
Arthur: If it's sensible let's do it.
Graham: I'll open a Jira and handle merging all the licenses into one file.
Closed.
2006-10-31 - John will post to the mailing list suggesting that the M7 milestone be deferred until after the interop event.
2006-11-07
John: I sent this today.
Closed.
2006-10-31 - Lawrence will post a useful link on the website for the task list.
2006-11-07
Lawrence: Done. We still need to update the task list.
[action] John will update the task list with up-to-date task information and links to Jiras.
Closed.
2. Milestone (M7) Status - John Kaputin
John: There are still outstanding Jiras to do for the event. There's one in particular, Woden-13, that has a dependency on XmlSchema. I've created a patch for this problem and opened WSCOMMONS-120. I want an XmlSchema developer to review before it's applied.
Chinthaka: What about Woden-69?
Arthur: I'm going to handle that Jira.
3.Development Discussion - All
Chinthaka: I had a problem when I moved up from M6 to a snapshot. A method has been removed.
John: Would it be OK if we keep the method for one milestone of Woden?
Chinthaka: That would be better. At least we'd get a deprecation notice.
Lawrence: I don't want this to slow down Woden development. We haven't even had a release yet.
Arthur: How about if we build Axis2 and fix anything we break?
Chinthaka: That will likely lead to problems. I'll see what we can do on the Axis2 side to reduce the problems for these changes but I think keeping deprecated methods for one Woden milestone will work.
Lawrence: We should announce all major changes on the woden-dev list.
4. Other Business - All
Arthur: Keep pushing to get things done before next week's interop.
Thanks,
Lawrence Mandel
