Minutes

1. Open Action Items - Lawrence Mandel

2007-10-02 - John will create a page describing the API, XmlSchema, and
array concerns and open Jiras for each concern.
2007-10-09
John: I'll take care of this after I finish with Woden-67 and the
documentation.
2007-10-16
John: No progress.
2007-11-06
John: I've been working on this today going through the e-mail thread
today to ensure I've covered all the issues.
2007-11-14
John: I've got a draft of the issues ready to post to the wiki. I'll post
today.
2007-11-20
John: I created a page and posted the link to the dev list. I need to
create an issue for the use of arrays.
Lawrence: Please update the last sentence to make it clear that anyone can

raise API issues. They can post to the dev list if they can't edit the
wiki.
2007-11-27
John: Done.
Closed.

2007-10-16 - Arthur will follow up with the W3C to find out the status of
the WS maintenance working group.
2007-11-06
Lawrence: I think I saw a follow up from Arthur but we still don't have an

answer as to when the maintenance group will be set up.
2007-11-14
Lawrence: I spoke with Arthur about this today. He said there has been
some progress and that there are some issues that need to be completed
before the group can be set up.
2007-11-20
Arthur (via the dev list): Here's an update on the W3C WSDL 2.0
maintenance working group. I just got my CVS access reactivated so I
should at least be able to update the test suite.
Lawrence: This covers us for updates. I'll leave this action open to
follow up on the status of the maintenance group.
2007-11-27
John: Arthur had his CVS access reinstated. I think that gives us what we
need. Let's close this issue.
Closed.

2007-11-20 - John will update the M8 plan: first bullet point is 'continue

to pass', second bullet point needs to indicate that it is validation
specific.
2007-11-27
John: I've made these changes but it hasn't been refreshed on the Web site
yet.
Closed.

2007-11-20 - Lawrence will start the Woden graduation vote on the
woden-dev list.
2007-11-27
Lawrence: Done. I've started the WS PMC vote.
Closed.

2. Milestone 8 (M8) Status - John Kaputin

John: I've defined the scope of M8 and added a few items to the milestone
plan. I've worked out the estimated effort at 21 days. I've updated the
date as the 28th of Dec. I'm going to try to get the release out before
the holidays. I expect the voting process to be quicker if we've graduated
by then.
Lawrence: If development isn't completed before the holidays we should
push the release date back a week as many people will likely be off on
vacation.

3. Graduation from Incubation - Lawrence Mandel

Lawrence: The Woden committer graduation vote has concluded with 8 +1 and
no -1 votes. See [1]. I've kicked off the WS PMC vote and requested
results by the end of this week.

4. Development Discussion - All

John: There are two more of Dan's Jiras that have patches that I'm
reviewing and should be able to commit shortly.

John: I haven't heard anything from Sagara recently. I sent him an e-mail
a few weeks ago but haven't heard anything yet.

5. Other Business - All

No other business raised.

Thanks,

Lawrence Mandel
