1. Open Action Items - Lawrence Mandel 2007-12-04 - Lawrence will create a wiki page with thoughts on the assertion API. 2007-12-11 Lawrence: Done. See [1]. [1]http://wiki.apache.org/ws/FrontPage/Woden/ValidationAPI Closed. 2007-12-04 - Arthur will review Tomi Vanek's WSDL pretty printer contribution. Arthur (via dev list): I have looked at Tomi's code and asked him to insert the Apache Licence before I commit it. 2007-12-11 Lawrence: Arthur's already committed the code and opened bugs and assigned them to Tomi. I added Tomi as a Woden contributor in Jira. Closed. 2. Milestone 8 (M8) Status - John Kaputin John: I'm working on Woden-47. I have a design and am working in a Woden-47 branch. Lawrence: Is M8 still on track for Dec. 21? John: The other big part of M8 is the assertions. I think we should still target Dec. 21 with the goal of completing development around that date. 3. Graduation from Incubation - Lawrence Mandel Lawrence: Woden successfully completed all of the graduation votes! Congratulations to everyone who has contributed to Woden! Now that Woden has graduated we have some migration work to do. We need to move the website, update references in Jira, move SVN, inform the WS and Incubator PMCs via their respective board reports, remove the incubation statement from the website and release documentation, update the links on the WS and Incubator websites, and update commits mailing list. There may be more items as well. [action] Lawrence will investigate graduation items and start to work on crossing them off the list. 4. Development Discussion - All John: Will assertion ids be used by each assertion or will there be some sort of validation manager? Lawrence: I think there should be a validation manager that handles prereqs and assertion execution order. John: For goal 2 option 2, would there be one assertion class or many classes? Lawrence: I envision many classes. This will allow for easy encapsulation of the assertions. John: I think we should use the existing extension registrar in the M8 time frame. We can look at enhancements such as automatic discovery and OSGi afterwards. As a thought, automatic discovery can be set using a feature on the factory if we don't want to have it enabled by default. 5. Other Business - All John: I've completed the WS Dec board report.
