John, We should run the W3C tests again. I haven't updated the W3C site in a long time. Do ytou think we should post the M8 results on the W3C site?

Have these been updated to reflect the latest W3C test results for M8 (trunk)? This requires the ant-test result files to be checked in, then Arthur or some other WG member to run the W3C tests and update the results page (note, the assertion tests results will probably regress because the new validation framework does not yet cover all of the assertions that have been implemented in the existing validator classes). Also, the release notes refer to serialization being implemented in the DOM implementation. The contributions from Sagara that I review a few weeks ago were still in a separate branch. I'm not sure if they were ready to be merged into trunk - didn't have enough time for a closer review. Have they been moved into trunk since then? If not, will need to remove this comment from the release notes. Otherwise, the release notes look OK to me. regards, John.
