Mike, It's best to ask this question in the Eclipse WTP project newsgroup, or better yet, open an RFE in their Bugzilla.
I validate WSDL 2.0 in Eclipse using an Ant task that wraps Woden. We use it for our testing. Would that work for you? I'm trying to get a WSDL 2.0 file to validate within Eclipse and the only valdiator available seems to be the WSDL4J (WSDL 1.1) so of course <description.. Can not be validated.
