Hi everyone,

On a related note, I just got sent a link by Ernie at the LAMS Foundation of their documentation on integrating Wookie with their project:

http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lamsdocs/lawook10

(There's even a nice screencast there.)

This is a good example of a Wookie "plugin" (or whatever they're to be called) that is owned and maintained by an external OSS project. I think we should start to collect links to these kinds of integrations and add them to the wiki - what does everyone else think?

Yes, there should be a list of such things. We also need to make sure they track developments in Wookie. We can make their life easier by carefully categorising things in the issue tracker

I've always found it a little confusing, but then any term I've come up with tends to have the same potential confusion (connector, module, adapter...)

I see what you mean, lets try a little brainstorming.

- connector
- adapter
- embedder
- container

...

I find the name "Wookie Plugin" to be confusing. I assume it is a
plugin for Wookie, when in fact it is a plugin to allow Wookie to
widgets to work in a third party tool (Moodle, Elgg etc.), that is, it
is a plugin for the third party tool.

Does anyone else see this confusion? Should Wookie Plugins be renamed?
