Cream of Onion Soup 3 lbs. onions, sliced 3 (10.5 oz.) cans beef broth (or your own) 2 (10.5 oz.) cans chicken broth (or your own) 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2 Tbs. butter or margarine 2 Tbs. flour salt and pepper to taste Melt the butter or margarine in large pot. Add onions and cook over medium heat until translucent and tender. Stir in flour, add broths and soups. Heat to boiling, then reduce to simmer. Add salt and pepper.
