Salami-Bean Casserole 1 16-ounce can pork and beans in tomato sauce 1/3 cup catsup 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 cups frozen hashed brown potatoes with onion and peppers 4 ounces sliced salami Oven 375º Combine pork and beans, catsup, and brown sugar; stir in hashed brown potatoes. Turn into a 1-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, in a 375º oven for 20 minutes; stir. Roll salami slices into logs; arrange on top of casserole, pressing into bean mixture slightly. Bake, covered, 10 to 15 minutes more or till potatoes are done. Makes 4 servings. Microwave directions: Prepare bean mixture as above, except turn into a 1-quart nonmetal casserole. Cover with waxed paper. Cook in a counter-top microwave oven on high power for 5 minutes; stir. Roll salami slices into logs; arrange atop casserole, pressing into bean mixture slightly. Micro-cook, covered, about 5 minutes more or till potatoes are done.
