Fly high bro! congrats -----Original Message----- August 17,
2005 Hi guys just
want to share this with you! Today is unforgettable experience for me, after 3 months of reading the theory, I had my
first flight lesson, my boss (instructor) and I flew heading towards Tanauan,
as soon as we reached Carmona Cavite and attained an altitude of 3,000ft, he
gave me the control wheel and fly straight while gaining additional altitude of
2,000ft,. When we reached the altitude of 5,000ft, he allowed me to do a few
strokes like nose diving, turning, climbing and gliding (in case of emergency).
I had logged my first 1.3 hours (I need at least 40 before being released). It's been almost five months since God put me the burden of
learning to fly as there are times that I cannot go the islands as there are no
pilots and land and sea travel is most of the times difficult and
impossible. Our mission obtained an
opportunity to operate a flight school
and I was put as the first student (we will be accepting other student too by
October, hope you could join me). joel
