Hi,
here are fews problems that I note when I really play wormux last week
(so not with the last version):
1 - There's a BIG BIG Memory leak sometimes using the grenade. I don't
understand the problem at all, but it make my swap full (wormux was
finally killed)!!!
2 - If there are physicians in the wormux team, they are invited to
correct the code for rebund in the obj_physique.cpp ;-) My
implementation was not really good ! (in addition, i think this code
cause the memory leak !)
3 - Well, wormux seem to use a lot of RAM !! 130 Mo, it's quite
enormous, nethertheless, we don't load lot of sounds, and others ressources.
4 - The selected player is not enough visible. The only difference that
I have seen with the other player is the absence of the progress bar.
5 - Selection the player with the mouse is a good idea, but it's quite
confusing when using the automatic bazooka for example. In addition,
there no animation on player/worm that show we can change player as
there is in Worms. Perhaps, the "weapon : change player" can be
implemented ? I don't think it's difficult and it's quite usefull.
6 - All the weapons are not accessible with the weapons menu and perhaps
there are missplaced. (dynamite should use the same key as mine,
shouldn't it ?)
7 - We can launch an unlimited number of mines during 1 turn...
8 - A pause time between turns is a good idea I think
9 - An animation 3...2...1 can be interesting for grenade, dynamite,
mine, ...
10 - Sometimes, some "player/worm" stay in the air
11 - I think the sky must be really wider than the ground
12 - Wormux block the sound card on my computer, do you have the same
problem ?
