Hey gals and lads,

You know how there's this string in the .pot file of the translation:
<li><a href=\"%1$s\" title=\"Subscribe to the WordPress mailing list for Release
Notifications\">Subscribe to the WordPress mailing list for release notifications</a></li>\n

Since the release notifications are in English, would it be bad if the
translators linked people to the local blog RSS (or somewhere else, eg. they'd
establish their own mailing lists) instead *or* append a line to the initial
post with another link to such a resource, preserving the link to the official
release notifications mailing list? Is this up to the translators or should the
original link be preserved for some reason?

Cheers!
