spencerp, If all of the 2.0.5 files are uploaded on top of the 2.0.4 files, /wp-includes/version.php will be updated as well. On the next access to the admin panel of the site, users will be prompted to update their database. I'm not sure that step can be skipped.
However, if users neglect to visit their admin panel after upgrading--even if just to make sure nothing breaks--that could lead to a lack of database update. -- Rick On 10/28/06, spencerp <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Just was wondering, just playing it safe here. If I didn't know any better, "us" forum users/mods/admins are going to have to update the Codex, and let general forum users know about upgrading to the 2.0.5 Ronan? Meaning, the wp-admin/upgrade.php will have to be run right? I just want to make sure, so the general users are NOT skipping that part. I know some might do that automatically, like me.. but there might be some that don't ... =/ Again, just was wondering..? Thanks in advanced.. spencerp _______________________________________________ wp-testers mailing list [email protected] http://lists.automattic.com/mailman/listinfo/wp-testers
