I eat n00b's for breakfast. With a nice glass of orange juice.
But on other matters, 5113 fixes the issue I've been having. There's an AJAX issue with the spell checker, but I'll check the tickets this time before posting in here. But, since it's a money bank install. I really would like this MU issue fixed soon, sigh. I've tried all kinds of various routes with it, and even his host and it's still a no-go. I can't really just tell the guy to hit forward button after seeing errors there, hit "yes" for "are you sure you want to do this".... only to get a solid blank page after that. Then tell him to go to straight url of where he was at to begin with on "add blog" section of the wp-admin control panel. This guy is a total nOOb at WP in general. I'm losing massive hours of sleep and such, and the guy is worried and so hard up to use MU for his needs. Shelling out $XXX.XX amounts of money on this install / with few months support included/.. only for it not to work anyway, is sad. And after all possible attempts at this job myself, troubleshooting it, researching in the forums on it, and you name it..to not find an answer or have someone create fix, it's sad.. I even offered to pay his domain name transfer fees, and host it on my dreamhost account, or him use my dreamhost promo to get him the 97.00 off first years sign up for account, but he's determined to keep it on his current server. I guess we're down to last resort of... upgrading his PHP and MySql to 5.X.X versions for over all server... just hope it won't break anything else he's running.. I'll have to see what he says about it.. :( spencerp _______________________________________________ wp-testers mailing list [email protected] http://lists.automattic.com/mailman/listinfo/wp-testers -- No virus found in this incoming message.
