I haven't been seeing any thumbnail images at all in the "Manage/Media Library" since the following change was made on March 3rd, 2008:
http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/6074 Once this change was made, all the thumbnails in the above media Library (the next nightly build) became much much larger then disappeared altogether the following build and have been gone since. In their place is just the text link "name" of the image (image.jpg for example). There's also a TODO for the links in the Media column just to the right where the thumbnails used to be. This was seen in my local test site, an online test site, and my main site which I upgraded from 2.3.3 just over a week ago. Strange thing is, all the thumbnails are present when viewing the "Media Library" via the uploader in the editor. I understand that the "Manage/Media Library" is still not quite ready yet (broken paging) but is the above still inculded as "TODO"?
