From personal experience in doing the same thing ;) ...make sure you
delete the cache before turning it off just to make sure (ask me how I
know this...no, don't).

To ask a very dumb question, are you using a caching plugin like WP
SuperCache by any chance? If so, you have to delete the cache before and
changes to widgets will show up on the front page. Please disregard this

I made some changes to widgets and they seem to have "taken" in the back
end, but they do not show up in the front end. Beta2-9582 with the newer
