When importing WXR with hierarchical categories using WP Importer 0.2 into vanilla install of latest trunk of WP (3.1-RC3-17365), the top-level categories show right, but their children don't appear till a category is added via the GUI.
Categories exist in post edit screens, etc., just don't appear in table. Steps to reproduce: 1. Vanilla Install 2. Import WXR with hierarchical categories 3. Visit Categories page (https://skitch.com/bigdawggi/rmm9t/immediately-after-import) 4.
