Summary: Conditionally execute main script based on pre- script
Product: WPKG installer
Version: 0.90
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: WPKG installer

On my networks (many, across different branches of my organizaton) i've build up
similar setup (same network share names, same configurations, ...) so i can
simply copy the WPKG recipes (package/*.xml) across branches.
The trouble came from portable systems that move toward branches, and that can
load settings based on casualty.
I propose to enable the wpkginstaller service to check for return value of the
pre-exec script, so i can do some checks within it and determine if the portable
are on the correct branch.
A different approach would be to add to wpkg.js some sort of 'server signature
checks' logic so client and server can match, but setting on wpkginstaller a
variable and checking on every esecution i think would suffice.
