Currently the wpkg.xml file is only kept locally on the workstation. It would be
nice if these files are collected on the server. Or even better, inserted into
the MySQL database. Using that information the administrator can get some
overviews:
- who has a package installed
- which versions of packages are installed and where
- does the number of installed packages not exceed the number of licenses
- etc
Note that the local copy is still needed, for uninstallation purposes and more.
