--- Comment #9 from Rainer Meier <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2007-10-30 08:29:56 --- First of all I agree to have some kind of "testset" where we can run WPKG against to verify its functionality. I also agree that it is a horror scenario to wake up one day with all office installations gone. But again, if you do not want it to be gone then simply do not delete it from the package database... However as I wrote WPKG could be modified in order not to mark packages for removal which are not in packages.xml but still listed in the profile (inconsistent profile/package database). I could probably provide such a patch. I guess this would comply with Bug 28 as well as still allowing to remove zombie packages even if uninstall fails. Such a package would then still be reported as "zombie" by the "isZomibie()" method I introduced but this would have no effect since wpkg would never try to remove it if it is still listed in a profile. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.wpkg.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
