First of all I agree to have some kind of "testset" where we can run WPKG
against to verify its functionality.

I also agree that it is a horror scenario to wake up one day with all office
installations gone. But again, if you do not want it to be gone then simply do
not delete it from the package database...

However as I wrote WPKG could be modified in order not to mark packages for
removal which are not in packages.xml but still listed in the profile
(inconsistent profile/package database).

I could probably provide such a patch. I guess this would comply with Bug 28 as
well as still allowing to remove zombie packages even if uninstall fails. Such
a package would then still be reported as "zombie" by the "isZomibie()" method
I introduced but this would have no effect since wpkg would never try to remove
it if it is still listed in a profile.
